Five Tips To Speed Up Newsletter Creation

How often do you send emails to your newsletter subscriber list? Once or twice a month? Once a quarter? Whenever you get around to it? Never?

To get the maximum benefit from your e-newsletter you need to send them out on a regular basis and the content needs to be helpful to your subscribers.

Here are a few tips to speed up the process:
1) Ask guest experts to write for you
Invite people in your industry, who are experts in their field but don't directly compete with you, to write for you. In addition to payment, offer them a link from your to their website.

2) Ask your readers to contribute articles
Readers love to contribute their experience on how your product or service helped them. You may want to publish the best submissions and provide a free service or product for their article.

3) Check out article distribution sites
Article distribution sites (free web content and free ezine article sites) are sites that collect articles from different writers. Writers usually give blanket permission to reprint their articles as long as their author’s resource and contact information is retained.

4) Hire a freelance writer
Not everything you publish in your e-newsletter needs to be written by you or your staff. A good freelance writer familiar with your industry can get the job done quickly and professionally.

5) Hire a freelance editor or virtual assistant to produce the newsletter
Writing a newsletter is not the only thing you can outsource. You can also hire somebody to produce your newsletter; format it, spellcheck, edit it, etc.

Once you start publishing your newsletter frequently you should start seeing major benefits

  • Increased sales and/or website traffic
  • Customers will remember your name and come to you for the next purchase
  • Subscribers will start forwarding your newsletter
